Trunk or Treat!!

Describe it...  

We did trunk or treat with SAFMC. We bought candy and used my car. WE got to dress up and takes pictures. How fun! Plus the kiddos are adorable!!

Serve / Hang-out at Floor Mom's Home

Describe it...  

This was our service floor event. So, we went to our floor mom's home and helped her out with some simple house chores then made cards for people in nursing homes. Our floor mom also had some snacks for us so we all ate together afterwards! :)

Positive Outcomes: 

it was a fun time with the girls! It was kind of nice that it was a small number of girls because we got to know a bit about each other and just have fun. It was also a blessing for our floor mom for us to be there because she lives by herself. We had a good time! :)  

What would you have done differently? 

Not much really. Maybe advertised it a bit earlier

Relay for Life

Describe it...  

The floor participated in Relay for Life! We had a s'more making booth at the event and managed to have girls walking/running all night. 

I had three girls, who worked under me (like co-captains).  They were each in charge of some part of Relay.   One was in charge of raising money before the event, one was in charge of raising money at the event and one was in charge of making sure that we had people for the full 24 hours.

Set-Up: I set up with 7 or 8 of my girls. We started setting up at 4:30pm to be ready by 6pm.

Positive Outcomes: All of the girls had fun.  They were able to raise money for the American Cancer Society. 

What would you have done differently? Made sure that we had enough girls to walk all night

Decorating Cookies at Floor Mom's

Describe it...  

We went to our Floor Mom's house and decorated sugar cookies.

Positive Outcomes: We had a lot of fun... the three of us.  The girls on the floor loved the cookies that we made! 

What would you have done differently? Maybe do it in the hallway not off campus. 

Would You Do This Activity Again?  No, I would do something different without our floor mom instead. 

Rice Night

A Night to Share Rice, Fight World Hunger (Free Rice.com) & improve our vocab together!
